Today I went to see Jenny again. It has been over a week since I last saw her.
Last week when I got on the scales my weight stayed the same but I put on 4 lbs of muscle. This week I got on the scales and lost 3lbs but non of that was fat, it was all muscle. I find it amazing the difference. Normally I would be really happy with today’s weight loss and unhappy with last weeks. Instead I was more unhappy with this weeks weight because I lost muscle and I don’t want to lose any of that.
I also got measured today.
Since January I have lost:
Just under 15 inches from the waist
10 inches from my hips
8 inches across my stomach
5 inches around each leg and
3 inches around each arm
We also had a bit of a mad half hour where we were taking photos to compare the difference from then and now
We couldn’t believe the difference in the size I was to what I am now.
There was room for Jenny to get in my starting measurement with room to spare.
I have had a personal trainer for about 8 years. Today is my first session this year, I usually go on the tread mill and then do boxing. I have been known on occasions to lift weights and do ab work too. Boxing is what I love the most there is something (I shouldn’t say this but) there is something exhilarating about punching someone. You can get rid of all your frustrations and its good for self defence.
However the weight loss is still very slow.
I get weighed in every week, and this week I was the same as what I was before Christmas, which was very demoralising.
