Day 74

Monday 14th March 2016

Walked the 5k block again, I found the first hill really easy and I didn’t need to control my breathing either. It doesn’t seem that long ago since I found it really hard and I was dreading it. The second hill was easier too, but tougher than the first.

I am finding I can eat out a lot more than I could before. At the beginning I felt that I couldn’t go anywhere because I had to prepare all my own food. Now though it is slightly more relaxed, I can generally find things on most menus for me.

Potatoes are not on my food list which I have found hard, and the reason they are not on there is because they turn to sugar once digested. Sweet potato is a new thing on my list which I am really enjoying. A very nice replacement for potatoes I find.

Day 25

Monday 25th January 2016

I did not feel as hungry today, which was good.

My pace of weight loss over the last few days has been really good although I know it won’t last forever.

I walked the 5k block again and I was really dreading the extra hill, it did however go so much better than the last time. I decided to set a pace and stick to it, I also controlled my breathing by going with the rhythm. I am not dreading it any more.

I went shopping with my mum which meant more walking. I realised that I had walked 14,339 steps that day.


By the end of the day I had walked 5 miles.

Day 18

Monday 18th January 2016

Feeling good today, the morning walks are getting so much easier – even the hill. While on my walk we decided to go around the extended block which consists of another hill twice as long as the usual one, but not quite as steep. It meant we would have walked 5k by the time it was done.

The hill was hard it seemed to go on forever I got very out of breath but I did get there in the end.

I felt very proud of myself at the end of it.
